Self-representation & Sexuality
I’ve been sitting here now since I got home from uni today, trying to figure out what the direction on my dissertation will be, also what would be my essay question. After some brainstorming (fair enough, a tiny tiny bit of brainstorming while photoshopping), I have sort of decided on sexuality. I had already made my mind up to do something with self-representation, just needed to narrow it down a bit. So what I’ve come up with then is ‘Self-Representation and Sexuality’. Now I just need to find a good question to discuss my essay around, and some chapter-titles. Feel free to come with suggestions.
I also need to come up with some good idea for my major project, which would probably be something along the same lines, so I can link my own practice into my dissertation.

Yesterday I had my first lecture of year 3, level 6. It feels good getting started again, but I can already feel the pressure and stress is building up inside me. Which it shouldn’t do after one day really. (Just thought someone was knocking on my window then, which would’ve been freaky seeing I’m on the third floor! But no worries, it was only a helicopeter.) I want to do good this year and create some pieces of work I can be proud of. Though it is hard keeping the motivation going when you constantly are wondering if you have picked the wrong subject of study. Have anyone got any tips on how to stay motivated throughout the full year? If so, tell me, I’d need it.
