I hate being busy, but I kind of like too.
We went to Chester this weekend, stayed in Travelodge, me and Ste, kinda like a mini-holiday, ‘cept I had caught a nasty cold, and we were there to surprise a friend for his birthday. Tho Chester was a lovely LOVELY place, and I am so going back. Seriously.
One year…
Yesterday was more or less a uniwork-free day, as it was in fact my one year anniversary being Steven’s girlfriend. We had a lovely day shopping, eating at a thai restaurant before snuggles and movie back home at my place. May the next year be just as wonderful <3

I love my old fashion alarm clock, like by the way.
Why does my boyfriend love me?
I read an interesting article on Cosmopolitan’s website, ‘What Makes Men Fall In Love?’. So yeah, why did Steven fall for me?
Facial symmetry
Having a symmetrical face can help. Research has proved that most of us - especially men - are drawn to even facial features. Why? Because in the animal world, symmetry is a sign of physical health and, like our furry friends, we too are attracted to a more balanced appearance to avoid mating with ‘sickly’ partners.
This could not be why Ste fell for me, because my face is far from symmetrical. And thank god for that, symmetrical me ain’t pretty.

Women resembling their mums
Weird as it sounds there is a convincing argument that men go for women who look like their mothers. Professor David Perrett, researched face preferences and perception at St Andrews University, made his students look at a range of faces to choose the one they fancied the most. In the mix was a photo of themselves, morphed into the opposite sex. Of all the pictures on offer, most were drawn to their own. As children, we’re so used to seeing our parents’ faces that it means, as adults, we’re attracted to people with similar characteristics.
This on the other hand I can see where comes from. Now, I am not saying I’m the spitting image of Steven’s mum, but the more time I spend with them the more similarities I see. Not only physically, but also in the way of behavior.
This would be it, he loves his mummy and don’t want to leave her, but now he’s found me, a little Norwegian copy of his mother, meaning he one day actually might be able to move out. (To his mum’s great joy)
